BEHIND THE TRACK
A collection of the moments, opportunities and people that have shaped my engineering journey beyond the projects.
FORMULA ONE · PERFORMANCE · ENGINEERING
2025 — 2026
CADILLAC F1 TEAM
Turning analysis, simulation and testing into real-world performance.
During my time with Cadillac F1, I have supported vehicle performance activities across race weekends, Driver-in-the-Loop development, simulation and physical vehicle testing. Alongside this, I have developed Python and MATLAB tools for automated analysis and trackside engineering, while contributing to cross-functional projects spanning vehicle setup, pit-stop equipment and energy management. The experience has given me exposure to the breadth of performance engineering and the collaborative environment behind delivering a Formula One car.
DESIGN · BUILD · COMPETE
2024 — 2025
WARWICK MOTO
Taking motorcycle components from concept and CAD through to manufacture and competition.
As part of Warwick Moto, I contributed to the design and delivery of two electric motorcycles for the MotoStudent competition, working across composite fairings, battery cooling, chain-guard design and battery integration. I produced detailed engineering drawings, developed parametric CAD methods to accelerate design iterations, and evaluated manufacturing solutions using load and failure-mode analysis. The project culminated in the team achieving 7th out of 42 international teams for CAD quality and prototype delivery.
PEOPLE · OPPORTUNITY · DEVELOPMENT
2024 — 2025
ASTON MARTIN F1 × ALETO FOUNDATION
An opportunity to experience Formula One beyond the engineering alone.
Selected as one of 14 delegates from over 100 applicants for the Aston Martin F1 × Aleto Foundation programme, gaining first-hand insight into the technical and operational environment of a Formula One team. Through collaborative activities and engagement with industry professionals, I developed my communication, presentation and teamwork skills while broadening my understanding of the different roles, career pathways and people that contribute to performance on and off track.
ENGINEERING · PEOPLE · OPPORTUNITY
2025
McLAREN 60 SCHOLARS
More than engineering — the people and opportunities around it.
The McLaren 60 Scholars programme provided opportunities to learn from industry leaders through mentorship, development events and experiences at the McLaren Technology Centre. Through the programme, I built a wider STEM network and gained practical career insights from McLaren Racing and its partners, including Google, Cisco and Deloitte, alongside continued professional development through Udemy.
TEAMWORK · DEVELOPMENT · COMPETITION
2022 — 2023
WARWICK RACING
Building, learning and competing as part of a team.
Working within Warwick Racing, I helped to design and deliver PCB-based low- and high-voltage systems for the WRe2 Formula Student car, including shutdown and brake-light circuits. Using EasyEDA and Autodesk Inventor, I worked across electrical, mechanical and manufacturing teams to integrate systems into the car, gaining hands-on experience in PCB soldering, testing and fault diagnosis.
AUTOMOTIVE · ENGINEERING · INDUSTRY
2023
BENTLEY MOTORS
Seeing engineering at a completely different scale.
During my time at Bentley Motors, I gained first-hand insight into the engineering and manufacturing behind luxury automotive production. Exploring different areas of the business gave me a broader understanding of how design, engineering and manufacturing teams work together to take a vehicle from development through to production, while introducing me to the standards and processes of the wider automotive industry.
HERITAGE · AUTOMOTIVE · ENGINEERING
2023
ASTON MARTIN WORKS
Exploring the engineering behind an iconic automotive heritage.
Visiting Aston Martin Works provided the opportunity to explore the craftsmanship and attention to detail behind the marque's heritage cars, while meeting engineers and women from across Aston Martin and its Formula One team. Hearing their experiences and passion for the industry, alongside Aston Martin's commitment to increasing female representation in engineering and motorsport, further strengthened my ambition to build a career within the industry.
MOTORSPORT · OUTREACH · ENGINEERING
2018 — 2019
DARE TO BE DIFFERENT
SILVERSTONE EVENT
One of my first opportunities to connect with the motorsport industry — and help others see a place for themselves within it.
Attending the Dare to be Different event at Silverstone gave me one of my first opportunities to meet and learn from people working within motorsport. Drawing on my own experience in F1 in Schools, I was also able to encourage the next generation of young women to explore STEM and motorsport, making the experience an important early step in both building my own network and helping others begin theirs.

2018 — 2019
F1 IN SCHOOLS
One of the first places engineering and motorsport came together.
Competing in F1 in Schools as a Manufacturing Engineer and Resource Manager took me through to the National Finals and gave me my first experience of applying engineering within a competitive environment. Alongside manufacturing, I helped raise over £4,000 in sponsorship and resources for the team, while encouraging and mentoring younger girls to get involved in STEM and supporting them through the competition.
